I completed my MBA and MS in Cybersecurity as part of the US Department of Veterans Affairs GI Bill which provides funding for education as well as a living stipend.

The Old Guard infantry battalion is tasked with escorting dignitaries, the United States President, and participating in ceremonies and events in addition to serving as a quick reaction force for any incidents in Washington DC. During my five years I led hundreds of high-profile ceremonial missions throughout the National Capital Region, including escorting the United States President and other foreign dignitaries. I have coordinated and performed over 100 high-profile burials for heads of state or fallen soldiers at Arlington National Cemetery.As a Team Leader I have coordinated and implemented training programs for team level infantry tactics for NCR incidence response, mentored other members of the battalion, and maintained accountability and functionality for team weapons and equipment totaling $250,000.Certifications/awards included Airborne, Combatives Level 1 & 2, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Army Commendation Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon.

At Verizon I prepared complex billing reports for residential and corporate clients in compliance with requirements and deadlines, resolved hardware and software issues, and supported retail locations in building and training tech support teams.
