Contracted to ExxonMobil working as a Seismic SHE-QC on an explosive/vibroseis 2D seismic survey operation in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. Work initially involved QC work of the contractors preparations during the planning and mobilization phase of the project. Later, during the execution phase of the work, my routine involved daily on-site field QC work, monitoring, guiding and reporting on the contractor's compliance with contract and industry specifications, their training plan & schedule, KPIs, incident prevention programme, incident reporting & investigation, etc..Project completed in June 2016.

Contracted to Shell Egypt working as an HSE Company Site Representative (HSE-CSR) on a 3D seismic survey in the Western desert of Egypt. Central purpose of the job is to oversee, Shell's interests in respect of the seismic contractor's compliance with international industry standards (OGP) and Shell standards for seismic operations.

Contracted to Genel Energy working as a Seismic HSE-QC on 3D seismic surveys in Kurdistan, Northern Iraq. Central purpose of the job is to oversee, Genel Enery's interests in respect of the seismic contractor's compliance with international industry standards (OGP) for seismic operations. Between August and December 2013, this involved working on-site to QC contractor's adherence to these industry standard by means of systematic checks and verification. In January 2014 I moved into the position of Genel Energy Seismic HSE Coordinator to lead HSE activities associated with mobilization for the next seismic project in Kurdistan. This job involves the development and generation of the Project Risk Assessment, Project HSE Plan and all supporting documentation. It also includes coordination of HSE related aspects during mobilization, execution, demobilization and restoration for the seismic survey.

The central purpose of this position is to supervise and quality control all safety, health and environmental aspects of BGP seismic operations throughout the Middle East region.Duties and responsibilities include:Ensure the BGP HSE Management System (HSE-MS) is effectively implemented.Develop regional HSE objectives and annual Regional HSE Plans.Completes bid analysis of HSE portions for new contracts and generate the HSE tender submissions.Develop the Region’s in-house training capabilities, training plans and provide HSE training to management and staff.Conduct Risk Assessments, Job Safety Analysis and develop/update/maintain Safe Working Procedures.Conduct HSE audits of field operations.Act as custodian HSE data and produce timely reports.Resolve client concerns regarding HSE performance.

The central purpose of this position was to contribute to the success of Veritas by managing the HSE programme in the Middle East. This involved educating line management and staff how to control risk and monitoring the result so that the quality of product, service and communication met internal and external customer expectations.
