2014 was a challenging year for me. My mother had dementia. I returned to the UK to discover, after paying for services, she had £50 per month to live on. After setting up powers of attorney, I made the decision to support my mother as a Carer until she died in Oct 2020. I started my own business, setting up various websites using tools which had to be learnt from scratch. I learnt many lessons that apply to work and are transferable skills.• Discipline in working from home. • Ability to understand and learn new systems and make them work. • Experience in Hosting, email-marketing, membership and payment systems.
