My role was responsible for developing and driving the Group Leader Training Program, Recruitment Program, as well as managing all first-year leaders and assistant trainers. Planned and led three 3-week-long training trips each spring. Trained & ensured USDOT compliancy. Briefed and debriefed leaders, managing performance and development. Rotated after-hours emergency phone. Managed on-tour incidents, emergencies and tour rescues. Performed tasks such as scheduling and holding interviews, sending offer letters and employment contracts, maintaining a database of current leader certifications and documents, submitting leader payroll, and managing an annual training budget of $200,000.
