Train communication skills through musical theatre. I hold responsibility for the implementation of the performing arts curriculum and the success of my students. Teaching:Teach Performing Arts musical theatre curriculum which involves music, acting and movement. I construct my own curriculum and activities to meet grade level performing arts standards. I provide consistent incentives for student behavior.Producing:Direct and produce school productions annually (Community Meetings, Cultural Shows, Black History Show, Spring Musical and Moving Up Ceremony for every grade level annually). I create and/or order costumes, sets, props when needed for proper show execution. I also supervise and craft production elements such as lights, sound, set.School Culture and Daily School Activities:Produce and oversee the school’s Community Circle. This involves organizing all traffic patterns, chants, cheers, drummers, mascots, flags, working with principal to rehearse and prepare all students. Oversee breakfast and lunch for students daily, greeting students, visitors and assisting with the start of the day. I also assist around the school when not teaching if needed. I fully commit to continual professional growth, participating actively in department meetings, faculty meetings, and other meetings if requested.

Enrichment Level Chair: Serve as the leaders of our core academic and cultural work with the Enrichment Department. Responsible for driving the vision for the Enrichment Department and ensure that day-to-day logistics, schedule, and operations are a reflection of the vision. I also manage and develop teachers on the team, guiding them to become strong classroom managers and competent instructional leaders in their classrooms.Zumba Fitness Instructor:Assisting in creating a favorable and friendly environment that will assist in better learning and personal development by establishing a rapport with students. I am responsible for motivating and encouraging the students to develop their skills and knowledge that would create a basic foundation for future learning. I ensure effective execution of various educational activities, maintain attendance records of the students, constantly monitors and tracks the progress of the class students, makes requisitions for various instructional aids, and participates in developing the course curriculum to address the students' requirements. I actively participate in management meetings and interacts with the parents during meetings to provide a detailed information on their child's progress. I may also make suggestions to parents to improve the learning capability of the students. Thus, I help in creating a positive learning environment that would not only help in enhancing learning capabilities, but also in their personal development.
