I oversee 46 Soldiers executing a variety of missions that serve the larger mission of providing maintenance and supply to theater of operation within Saudi Arabia by:Tracking Covid impact and spread on PSAB Staying knowledgeable of each Soldier’s special skills and how the use of those skill impact the missionManaging heavy equipment by tracking maintenance needs and records for all equipment falling under Forward Logistics, including but not limited to: retchs, ac systems, generators, fuel trucks, Hemtt fuelers, HMMWV, LMTV, and forkliftsCoordinating and tracking all equipment traveling from other military installments to PSAB for maintenance Tracking incoming and outgoing flights in order to maintain count of, and schedules for, all Soldier movementsOrdering and managing inventory, fulfilling orders and coordinating delivery to appropriate locations Providing maintenance even to units that do not fall under the FLE in order to better serve the mission overall

In my position as NCOIC I provided support to the Department of Human Services and FEMA as well as health care workers, patients, schools, mental health facilities, senior residences, and the overall greater state of Montana during the onset of the Covid Pandemic by: Serving the Department of Human Services and FEMA by providing them with daily mission information including: tracking the number of positive test results, staffing reports, vehicle usage reports, reporting the number of test kits built, and eventually utilized, then assisting in delivery of administered tests to the state labAiding healthcare workers and patients at hospitals and mental health facilities by overseeing a team of 6 Soldiers providing around the clock assistance to take the strain off frontline workers by: providing relief of a magnitude of duties throughout the hospital including CNA duties, janitorial duties, laundry duties, and tasks as required on the designated “Covid Floor.” Around the clock overseeing of mental health residents who were relocated to a non-secure facility due to the spread of Covid in the main facility Receiving, fulfilling and shipping orders from the state warehouse submitted by at-risk populations including requests for school supplies, PPE kits, which were assembled at the state warehouse, and the capability of a mobile hospital to be used as a testing site. Managing and assisting a team of 6 Soldiers in creating an SOP for Operation Covid Shield, an unprecedented mission, should another such situation arise. Gathering historic data from the start of the pandemic to current, including missions conducted and completed, overall cost analysis per Soldier and per mission, and presenting that data, in a straightforward format, to FEMA. Tracking pay and leave for 300+ deployed Soldiers throughout the state of Montana. Providing daily briefings to the Joint Operations Command Colonel in regards to mission readiness.
