Responsible for sales growth and management of adhesive sales to construction OEMs

-Manage the adhesive distribution business serving the high pressure laminate market in the northern half of the United States-Direct the efforts of manufacturing representatives in marketing adhesive lines to distributors and end-use customers-Optimize adhesive product line, continually adjusting to meet market needs

Responsible for technical support of exisiting and target OEM customers (product recommendations, application testing, production trials, production start-ups)

• Serve as a liaison between University of Cincinnati Material Characterization Center and Proctor and Gamble R&D personnel• Develop methodologies for sample preparation and SEM imaging to facilitate analysis of specific sample attributes• Analyze and interpret SEM images• Provide SEM and Electron Dispersion Spectroscopy (EDS) analysis results to Proctor and Gamble R&D in detailed PowerPoint reports

• Developed a procedure for testing and implementing potential reductions of material in extruded aluminum components• Formulated and utilized a standard method for evaluating the raw material quality coming from new and existing steel suppliers• Compiled statistics for, prepared and presented detailed PowerPoint presentations to company engineers and supplier representatives at meetings regarding quality of steel acquisitions and areas for improvement• Initiated steel chemistry optimization trial. Projected cost savings: approximately $30,000/year• Assisted in SEM/EDS analysis of product failures and raw material defects• Collected and compiled steel coil quality data for supplier comparisons
