RouteSmart Technologies is a leader in vehicle route optimization software technology geared toward the newspaper, postal/parcel delivery, public works, and utilities industries. As a senior member of the sales and marketing team, my role as Business Development Manager is to work with opportunities that require advanced consideration and analysis both within and beyond our traditional business segments. Many times, companies know they need a routing solution or are struggling with existing solutions. It is common for these groups who may not be familiar enough with RouteSmart Technologies’ solutions to contact us. My role is to consult with these organizations to determine if there is a fit and then figure out which of our solutions, from traditional on-site desktop deployment to web services, is most appropriate. Every engagement is undeniably unique and that makes my position exciting and motivating.Like my colleagues, I take a very high-touch, consultative approach to every engagement. I am confident working outside of RouteSmart’s traditional business segments, as I see every prospect as an opportunity to provide a solution that reflects an organization’s specific routing needs. I want to help them adopt, and adapt to, routing technology that can radically evolve and improve their business. RouteSmart products have been proven time and time again to be the best on the market today, exceeding beyond and above client requirements.I take very seriously my customers’ business goals and am with them from discovery to implementation, helping nurture their experience with the product. I often work with real-world client data to ensure that RouteSmart is not just a good fit, but the right fit. I approach each engagement with creative, innovative ideas and will eagerly propose new ways to maximize the benefits. I confront potential problems or obstacles decisively and confidently lead my customers to reach their goals.
