As a Senior Grade Crossing Inspector with the ACC Railroad Safety Section, responsible for quality of the driving surface and passive warning devices at over 700 public at-grade rail highway crossings across the state. Review new grade crossing project applications and prepare staff reports outlining the Section’s approval or objection to proposed work. Respond to Requests for Information in a timely matter. Develop and maintain a database for all categories of crossings (at-grade, grade separated, abandoned etc) that included field inventory worksheets, current photos, historical records and project notes accessible on the desktop and in the field via smartphone. Optimize Access database used for incoming accident/injury records to make it more complete and easier for user to input and retrieve data. Set aggressive goals to revisit all public at-grade crossings every two years. Respond to public complaints re: blocked crossings and noise.•25 repairs to crossing surfaces were completed through both informal means and statutory 90 day repair letters. Including Camelback Rd and 43rd Ave. Following a 90 day repair letter, BNSF and City of Phoenix shared costs installed 340 linear feet of new concrete panels and asphalt approaches.•Effected over 140 repairs to warning signs and stripes bringing them up to current MUTCD guidelines. Coordinating with various road authorities across the state including Cities of Yuma, Williams and Safford and National Park Service. •Testified in over 30 evidentiary hearings and produced staff reports that resulted in new crossing projects approved for construction. •53 diagnostic meetings for quiet zones and new projects.•Facilitating a revision of Railroad Safety Section Administrative Code (“Rules”) expected to go to the state legislature 2020•Negotiated with Union Pacific Railroad to repair 32 crossings statewide in the next 3-5years.•Work with ADOT and Railroads to plan between 10-15 new rail safety projects across the state.

Sift, clarify, correct and document utility, traffic control, property limit, trees and landscaping features for final survey base. A similar process happens for 3D models-Draw break lines, sift, sort which points make up the true surface for profile and drainage design base. Before and after volume/earthwork analysis and meetings with contractors to discuss differences in earthwork quantity.-Estimates, Contracts and Management - Phoenix Fire Training Academy (FCI), City of Peoria Downtown Park and Ride (HDR) and others: Meet with clients to establish scopes of work, costs and schedule, provide contracts based on those agreements. Oversee, and perform the work necessary to deliver. If needed, follow up, clarify and backup costs of billing between client and accounting dept.
