I am an enthusiastic Information Science student specializing in User Experience (UX) Design with a passion for blending user-driven research with creative design solutions to enhance user interactions. My journey in the world of UX began with a keen interest in understanding how users interact with products and services, and finding ways to improve those experiences through thoughtful design.Having spent nearly a decade at Zingerman's Roadhouse, I have worn multiple hats as a Lead Server, Administrator, member of the Governance Committee, as well as leading the charge on survey-based analytics (Net Promoter Score). My tenure here has been more than a job; it's been an exploration in human-centric service, a life-lesson on how to be a servant-leader, and an ongoing case study in the operational dynamics of a successful business.Working at Zingerman's Roadhouse has allowed me to hone my skills in high-paced environments, anticipating the needs of a diverse clientele, and managing a team to deliver exceptional service. My role as an administrator has equipped me with organizational and decision-making skills that are critical to UX design projects. Furthermore, managing customer survey initiatives has offered me valuable insights into consumer behavior, enabling me to apply this understanding to create user-centered design strategies. My approach to UX design is interdisciplinary, drawing from my experience in the hospitality industry, where every interaction matters, and each touchpoint is an opportunity to delight, inspire, and engage. I am always eager to collaborate on projects that push the envelope in UX, particularly those that intersect with sales and research to drive innovation and user satisfaction.I am looking to bring my unique blend of skills and perspective to a team that values user research, empathetic design, and a relentless pursuit towards improving the user experience. Please feel free to connect with me to discuss potential collaborations, share insights, or simply exchange ideas about the latest in UX design and research. I’m always eager to learn from others and grow professionally within this ever-evolving field.
