I come from a typesetting background, and continue to oversee or produce most of the typesetting requirements of our organization, including books, conference catalogs, annual reports, newsletters, forms, charts, graphs and stationery packages. Having moved into web work a few years ago, I now map out and format the HTML and CSS for most of the websites we.

First a two-man operation, then evolving to just myself, I worked as a contractor for various graphic artists and studios, providing text (pre-Pagemaker and Quark) for the production of all manner of publications, including books, annual reports and newsletters. When the computer revolution changed the way companies incorporated text, I learned Pagemaker.

Started my career as proofreader, paste-up artist, and eventually typesetter for Type Foundry in Bethesda, MD.
