I work directly with senior leaders to help them create a game plan to achieve their career and life goals. Their focus might be the next full-time professional role, consulting, board work, or encore legacy activities. This next chapter may also be a combination of these areas. Prior to the coaching and consulting I do now, I held Human Resource and Organization Development leadership roles in the Education, Healthcare and Med-Tech sectors, where I developed people strategies and led teams to drive business results and affect positive culture change. Stakeholders included operating and functional groups from Corporate HQ/ Business Units/Field Sales/Services, for organizations across the U.S. and multiple international locations.Throughout my career, Talent Management and Change Management have been strong areas of focus. My work with organizations has been highly valued for implementing talent strategies that improved recruiting, employee development and retention. I am also known as a trusted advisor that can skillfully help navigate the changes and transitions that occur during times of rapid growth, sudden market turns, and acquisitions/divestitures. Away from work I have been an active Board member for the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities for many years, and served as a long-time mentor for S.T.R.I.V.E., collaborating with high school students to foster their plans after graduation. Personal interests include hiking (24 National Parks and counting), skiing, baseball, old motorcycles, and taking in live music of all kinds. My wife and I enjoy visiting our five adult children who are spread from coast to coast as well as other travel both domestically and abroad.
