An experienced consultant who provides coaching, mentoring, and career counseling to folks at all stages of their careers. Building on my diverse background in business and higher education, I offer clients a framework to assess where they are now and more clearly map a path forward. Throughout the process my goal is to enable clients to better maximize their talents in their career choices and work environments.Known as a deep listener I help clients discern what is most important to them professionally and personally. I balance directness with empathy. While this work is serious, the process of figuring out the steps for the future should be both liberating and fun! I use my sense of humor to provide space for new ideas and challenge traditional thinking. My focus is always on encouraging clients to consider future directions while addressing external pressures and expectations. Having moved from higher education to the corporate world (and then back to education!), I know the value of building meaningful relationships in life and on the job, taking risks, and seizing serendipity. As a consultant I will ensure that those I coach: ◊ Consider a range of options and opportunities.◊ Develop a comprehensive action plan to achieve their goal.◊ Identify specific steps and milestones to be completed along the way.
