My employment with STI - The Drive Experience Company has provided me with a very professional yet fun type of environment. My required job duties may stay the same day to day, but each and every day is never the same with delivery schedules and locations. The changes are frequent and keep the staff very busy. It is very hard to get tired or even bored in this position and has taught me to be ready for anything.My employment duties include prep, detail, checking quality, and delivery and pickup of new and pre-production vehicles to members of automotive press and media. 40% of this job involves the prep and detail, and the other 60% is travel and customer service to our clients. Customer service and professional courtesy is a must with this position. The quality of both the car and the delivery is the most important part of this job, as we provide the first impression of the car to our clients. As a driver, my responsiblity may include a demonstation of some of the features the vehicle has to offer from the navigation to basic vehicle settings. I have also been involved with new vehicle launches and events, which requires me to provide customer service to not just one, but many clients at a given time.Operation of the vehicles in a safe and timely manner is another must with this position. I may be asked to deliver a car three miles, or 300 miles. The responsiblity of my job is quite large. Our inventory of vehicles may range from a basic sedan to an expensive exotic.

My employment with SPX Corporation has been one of my favorite positions I have had held. This company had provided a professional atmosphere and has educated me on how a Fortune 500 corporation operates starting out and growing from an entry level position. I can honestly say, I have felt proud to have worked for this company. My time at GT Industries was a first for me as my introduction to the manufacturing factory environment. I served as a machine operator for small automotive components. I have been trained on small high volume press machines, and also have performed some parts assembly by hand. The work itself was very repetitive for long hours durring my shift, and I was required to meet time deadlines and high part counts with quality.I honestly can say, I did like my job there and I worked with a good attitude and ethics, but I was looking for a more challenging position, which was not offered here. I left this position on very good terms and am glad I could ad this to my experience.
