At the age of fifteen I moved from Louisiana where I was raised in a ranch style environment to live on and work a ranch in North Texas. I was placed in charge of managing livestock, feeding and training of horses. When I turned eighteen, I went to work for Patterson UTI, one of the largest drilling companies in the country. I started off at the very bottom and worked my way up to second in charge of the rig within twelve months, where I would maintain chemical makeup of drilling fluids, operations of all pumps and sensors dealing with pressure output and return pressure. At the age of nineteen I joined the United States Navy where I learned the trade of electronics technician and maintain a personal appearance of professionalism.
