Led initiative to build and test the Broadsoft UC-One Add-in for Skype for Business client including internal IT trial.Led initiative to identify a replacement SBC vendor by writing the RFI, evaluating vendor responses, narrowing the field, and lab testing leading solutions. Documented reference architecture for deployment into the Windstream network.Presented Windstream’s network evolution plans to the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Emergency Communications in support of the Government Emergency Telecommunications Service (GETS) annual program review.Research & developed SIP-based, VoIP products on Broadsoft such as: ACD, Call Center, Softphone & Unified CommunicationsAs the Subject Matter Expert for these services I built proof-of-concepts in a lab environment, documented network and provisioning requirements, proposed back-office systems modifications to allow for automated provisioning, proposed customer-portal modifications, and prepared hand-off/training documentation to high-level network support engineers.Regularly tested a variety of VoIP network technologies such as Softswitches, Media Gateways, and Session Border Controllers from key vendors such as: Oracle Acme Packet, Broadsoft, CounterPath, GenBand, Metaswitch, Polycom, and Sonus.Configured Cisco and Juniper router VLANs and physical interfaces ranging from 10/100 Fast Ethernet to 10 Gigabit Ethernet.Fluent in the use of Layer 1-7 test equipment from Empirix and Spirent.Represented Windstream on the FCC Robocalling Strike Force.
