Software Engineer/Project lead/Software lead for the Kodak Digital Cinema Services Web Portal (KDCS). Kodak Digital Cinema Services (KDCS) is critical to content creation, content management, encryption key management, content distribution, device certificate signing, and the service and support of field units. I participated in the original architecture of the system, and was software lead for a complete hardware upgrade and re-architecture this past year. This work included changes to the load balancing, clustering and failover configurations as well as the addition of transactional replication to the Disaster Recovery site.Project Lead for Laser Pacific's aIM Digital Dailies Player. Built on Kodak’s digital cinema server platform, the aIM player is used for on site dailies playback and printer light adjustment. The project included adding a web front end (Jave/J2EE,Ajax, JBoss) to the Kodak Feature Player, a modified image path, and a new API to add shuttle control, printer light adjust etc. Project received Special Judges' Award for Innovation and Creativity at the 2008 HPA awards in Hollywood.Project Lead/Software Developer for the Kodak Content Packaging System (CPS). The system compresses and packages digital cinema content either as a standalone device, or as part of a cluster. CPS is comprised of a Java/J2EE web front end and C/C++ compression module. The team was able to achieve a significantly higher compression then any other system in the industry with the same image quality.

Chimera Runtime EnginePart of a system designed to allow for the rapid design and prototyping of Digital Camera User interfaces. The application suite includes a User Interface design application, the Chimera emulator for debugging UI designs, an adapter layer and a widget hierarchy of user interface components. As a proof of concept, I successfully implemented an entire Digital Camera user interface for the Preview Hybrid Camera using the User Interface Components (widgets) and demonstrated the interface in the simulator and on the camera itself.Work Completed using C, C++, MFC Visual Studio, Windows and Linux platforms.

Achievements:Photodesk released on schedule adhering to CMM Level 2 best practices.Responsibilities:Design and implement key components of the PhotoDesk Image browser/editor including the contact sheet, crop and rotation module, and file manipulation classes. Implement build tool utilizing Perl for the Capture Manager application.

Achievements:Completed Video Bits upgrade effort using Visual C++Responsibilities:Reviewed Problem Reports, updated requirements documentation, created a project plan, incorporated software fixes and new functionality, updated users manual; and created a complete test suite for the application.
