A highly adaptable professional with a background in Leadership, Management, Project Management, Team Building, Logistics, Business Operations, and general facilitation of large complex projects with multiple moving pieces and friction points. I have worked in the military (US Army), in the IT industry (CISCO) as well as production manufacturing (Tesla Factory) and have extensive experience working in a diverse cultural environment. I come from a mixed family (Japanese and Caucasian), I speak Spanish fluently, grew up speaking Japanese and English, studied Arabic for several years and I have worked with teams from all assortment of cultural, political, and national backgrounds throughout my career.I believe in leading by example and through service, rather than through position. In the Army we would always be told as officers: "Your Soldiers should want to follow you because they trust and respect you. Not because of your rank or position of authority." Leadership and teamwork to me is about building trust within your team to promote open communication, uplifting team members through involved/proactive coaching, leveraging that trust and coaching to motivate team members to motivate themselves and each other, and then to bring that all together to ensure as a team we succeed at our goal/project/mission/objective. I am open to relocating so long as it is near a city center.
