Provide temporary support to families in need of respite or therapy for their child/children with special needs. Services vary and are unique to each individuals needs. Support with self-help/hygiene, leisure skills, homework help, behavior support/reduction, meal-preparation, reading comprehension and other teaching goals are provided. In this role I have worked with families with children ranging in age from 10 years to over 21 with additional supervision at times for siblings as young as 6 months in some cases.

Provide overnight support in residential group homes throughout Central NJ. In this position I am able to be moved from facility to facilty depending on staff shortages or staff call outs. The ability to work with and support individuals with a wide variety of needs is integral to this role.

Oversee staff and daily operations of one of Edens adult group homes serving 4 individuals.

Oversee staff and day to day operations at residential group home. Ensure the residents receive proper care and supervision.

Teach/Support adults to master living skills (meal prep, medical appointments, recreation, etc.) and pursue life-enhancing goals. Provide assistance with daily life skills including cooking, bathing, cleaning, recreational activities and social events in the community.

Provide teaching and behavior support for center participants in order to meet their individual therapeutic needs.

Provide ABA therapy support as well as respite support to families with individuals with special needs
