Steps taken include: developed streamlined workflow/process maps and SOP’s for receiving, processing and shipping; launched Lean Initiative program aimed at eliminating waste, increasing efficiency and reducing cost; established enhanced automation and digitization throughout the entire logistics process While in this role we decreased warehouse inventory backlog by 90% and decreased SPAN cycle time from 5-10 days to 48hrs for all parts shipped as a result of program changes and improvements.
