- Earned a campus-wide award for the developing, planning and implementing programs and workshops with learning outcomes related to academic and student success, including first year advising, freshman and transfer student orientations, academic success workshops.- Researched and analyzed complex and urgent student cases, in order to make recommendations to the provost and faculty committees regarding student appeals for exceptions to academic policies.- Manage peer advising program by hiring, training, supervising and evaluating 6 peer advisers, which served as a model for the creation of similar programs throughout the institution.- Tracked student information using student information systems and google sheets for over 2000 advisees and created communication plans to ensure they were on track for important milestones.

- Engaged students through one on one conversation to reflect on their academic goals, interests and strengths and identify the most appropriate enrollment unit for achieving those goals.- Advised exploratory students in selecting and registering for appropriate summer and/or fall courses that allowed exploration of interests while making timely progress to graduation.- Evaluated learning outcomes for students attending orientation sessions through the creation of an assessment instrument and weekly data collection and analysis.- Developed and presented resource guide for advising exploratory students considering a nursing major.

- Answered prospective students’ questions about programs and applications via phone calls and drop in meetings.- Trained staff members on the use of new application software for non-credit applications, identified technical issues with the software, and developed work-arounds for staff to use until issues were resolved.

- Provided legal research and writing at different stages of civil proceedings for approximately ten attorneys.- Reviewed and analyzed thousands of documents produced by defendants, identified key issues, and assisted in the development of theories regarding defendants’ behaviors and motivations.- Managed over 6,000 client inquiries regarding class action lawsuits against companies such as Honda and Sallie Mae.
