• Migrated a POJO microservice to Spring Framework• Designed a couple of software projects, including system performance enhancement, notification system for Operations team, environment monitoring & alerting, SQS queues monitoring & alerting, refactoring service by separating team specific logics, etc.• Designed, planned, presented, built, tested, and prepared to launch new Enrollment Sync system, which is a major project aimed to further improve the system performance by 50%. During this project, designed and developed 2 new services from scratch to support the system, which involves Spring Batch, Kafka, Temporal Tables, Data Migration, Data Sync etc.

• Formalized and applied working procedure for embedded team, including On-call, Releasing and other agile processes.• Standardized and implemented monitoring system for embedded team, including Prometheus metrics, Grafana dashboard, PagerDuty alerts, Slack notification, and other customized monitoring mechanisms.• Planned and created new RDS instances for team specific usage, and migrated databases to new instances. This largely improved system performance and team organization, and the pioneer documentation supported other teams to follow same procedure with much reduced effort.

• Designed and built E2E test automation framework, implemented it into various micro services, and integrated it into release build pipeline. This replaced most of the manual integration tests and largely promoted the project of cutting QA team.• Designed and built Test Data Auto Creation service along with various APIs, which supports manual execution via Postman and auto integration with a library. This helped reducing data creation time and complexity from 2 hours to 30 seconds.• Planned and pushed for Test Driven Development, which highly increased test coverage and encouraged testing culture.
