I am a communicator and organizer for environmental sustainability looking to do good in the world. I currently work at Audubon Southwest, with a daily goal of providing kids and families with meaningful experiences in science and nature. My background includes topics in environmental policy, environmental education, ecology, outreach, event planning, and program development. My academic experience at Kalamazoo College (B.A. Environmental Studies) and the University of North Carolina Wilmington (M.S. Environmental Education) gave me the understanding of the environmental field. While my professional experience as an educator and manager has given me the tools to be an effective leader and advocate for hands-on, nature-based learning. I also have a personal and professional interest in issues of equity, diversity, and inclusion in science, education, and environmentalism.Currently, I am looking for ways to make an impact on environmental issues in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and surrounding areas. I'm also interested in making connections locally and worldwide. Feel free to send me a message and introduce yourself.
