About Keith Lewis

I am passionate about helping people and creating an effortless experience for those I help. Being the youngest of 3 growing up I learned that I derived a lot of value from being of use to others and so I started my work life very early when I worked side by side with my mother in a small restaurant bussing tables. By the time I was 17 I was a shift leader at my local Dunkin Donuts ensuring the experience for customers was quick, efficient and pleasant. After that I spent 5 years working with adults with developmental disabilities at Perspectives Corporation here in Rhode Island. By the time I had ended my employment I was a Case Manager for one of the residents and I was the lead point of contact for their Medical and Financial planning as well as ensuring their quality of life was as comfortable as possible. I also began my sales career at this time as an associate at Radio Shack helping customers with all their issues from transistors to cell phones. After leaving Perspectives and Radio Shack I started working for Cox Communications as an Inbound Sales Representative in the local call center and a little less than a year later I transitioned over to the Customer Retention Department. I continued my time as a Retention Rep until they closed the call center the following year where I made the switch to Retail where I have remained during my time at Cox Communications. I have become a knowledge source for my coworkers and management and I've been used to help train new reps and even Managers on system functionality and am still called upon daily for help with policy and operational questions. I spent 2 years away from Cox to broaden my horizons and try new and different opportunities that I felt would benefit my world view and total experience. I spent several months selling luxury cars at BMW of Newport before leaving there and starting a new position with Bank of America as an Advance Client Support member which was a service to sales role where I helped customers with their banking questions and transitioned to sign them up for new banking products they may have needed. After a year there I was recruited by We Got Soccer to supervise their customer service department, during that time I learned a lot about the apparel industry and what its like to have my own team and to be responsible for their and the company's success. I left We Got Soccer and went back to Cox Communications as the role suited my needs better. I'm currently on the look for a new tech based position where I can showcase my ability to learn and willingness to lead.
