I've been in sales and the relationship building business for over 20 years. I'm passionate about helping clients find an easier way to achieve their goals and guiding business clients to unlock more sales!Doodling mansions on the outside of my folder probably wasn’t the most productive thing to do in 8th grade history class. Then again I think I knew back then I wasn’t going to be the next great historian. I also knew that if the professional baseball thing didn’t work out I wanted to be an architect. Let’s just say that my drawing skills weren’t that great either. While it took a roundabout path to get here I knew from a very early age that I wanted to help shape this beautiful city that has grown up around me. I moved to Charlotte in the mid-80’s right as we both really started to grow and have watched Charlotte transform into the amazing city it is today. I’m so proud now to help people call the Charlotte Area their home. I possess a unique perspective on the Real Estate Market in general. Call it a gift of entering the industry in January 2008, but I don’t look at my business as a series of ups and downs rather I see each day as an opportunity to continue to grow my business. Each person that I meet, every connection that I make, every effort that I make has the potential to bring me another sale if not today, soon enough. Well I decided to go running into it with all had. I figured they'd obviously never survived the retail Holiday season just to be blindsided by January's inventory before you could even catch your breath. All jokes aside I knew from a very early age (8th grade) that I wanted to help shape Charlotte I just hadn't gotten my chance till then.New Home Specialist: Typically when you think of working for a builder you think of someone responsible for a specific community. They will sit onsite, market their community, reach out to the realtor community, create events to create excitement about their given community and sell homes within their assigned community. I did all of the prescribed activities. The reason I say typically is that I became sort of fire starter. When a community needed to get up and going and get the energy flowing they would send me in to get things going. That being said I moved communities 14 times over a 3.5 year period. I would go into a community assess what needed to be done in order to get sales going begin to get the sales going and then shortly after I would be moved along to the next community. Results: I started my career in 2008 when a lot of people were getting out of the business, however I am very proud to say that I have sold and closed more homes every year that I've been in the business. From working with a partner my 1st year that we sold 13 homes together closing around 1.3 million to closing around 2.5 million my last year with Eastwood. -

It also became a valuable extension of my business education at the same time. Starting Position: P/T Commissioned Sales Associate. Responsibilities: I was responsible for the day to day operations of running a million+ business. I had 2-3 Co/Assistant Managers working for me and depending on the time of year up to 30+/- Sales Associates working for me. Working a Guess? really taught me what it took to run a successful business. It especially taught me the importance of networking to ensure that you always know who is out there to fill a void. This has helped me tremendously in my networking efforts in real estate!!
