At JPM, I am responsible for spearheading a wide range of activities across Fund Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Regulatory Reporting, while engaging prospect clients to understand their needs and align sales opportunities to the commercial terms. As a thought leader, I assisted in developing the product strategy and driving the strategic roadmap to successful conclusion, while serving as SME for partners, and project stakeholders.

As part of my last role at FTI, I led the Services business and the Fund Accounting and Reconciliation teams across 5 global locations for all retail funds within Franklin Templeton, setting the strategic direction while managing operational risk and supporting business growth and product events. Among my various achievements was the creation of an enterprise vendor management framework, including the establishment of fund accounting operations oversight for outsourced products and KRIs, to guide decision making in the oversight support for outsourced funds. I also reengineered processes to increase global utilization by 25% and save $2M, streamlined global processes to maintain a 5% annual cost reduction, and implemented robotics process automation to decrease operational risk. Other accomplishments include: ♦ Oversaw the conversion of Fund Accounting to 3rd-party administrator for 400+ funds across multiple jurisdictions. ♦ Restructured delivery processes to enhance customer experience and shared service operational controls.♦ Achieved accuracy and timeliness rates of 99.6% and 99.9%♦ Built a rapid response team to reduce risk related to complex events.♦ Implemented a Mutual Fund Accounting training program and mentored leaders.♦ Leveraged global sourcing to enhance productivity and work-life balance. ♦ Led a forum promoting women in the workplace and D&I.

In this role, I oversaw Fund Accounting and Services, leading the global Fund Accounting department to improve efficiency, standardize functions, mitigate risks, and track expenditures to reduce overall budget, all while ensuring regulatory compliance of processes and procedures. I also participated actively in product growth and corporate strategies: I supported the expansion of ETF, alternatives strategies, and hedge share classes and was instrumental in the Investment Accounting platform conversion (vendor review, due diligence, cost-benefit analysis). Moreover, my role was eventually expanded as I managed the Fund Accounting Services team in California and the Reporting Production team in India.♦ Set up Fund Accounting team in India and Poland to reduce annual operational costs by $2M.♦ Identified an FX related error which saved $1M across 4 funds.♦ Eliminated 20% of the manual processes to improve end-to-end operations and implemented an annual review of all tasks.♦ Delivered global presentation and training on risk mitigation and approved divisional business continuity plan.

As Director of Net Asset and Control, my primary mandate was to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the daily NAV calculation of 100+ Canadian and US Domicile funds. I also consistently increased efficiency by standardizing and automating workflows, as well as enhanced the year-end distribution process, allowing Franklin Templeton to meet NAV release SLA for the first time on distribution day. Furthermore, I took pride in fostering a cohesive global management team environment, providing guidance and direction to managers to ensure the department met operating objectives. Another noteworthy achievement was the functionalization and transition of reconciliations to India which reduced annual costs by $1M+.
