Lisa Murray Email and Phone Number
I am a highly skilled software development professional, with an extensive background in designing, developing, testing and implementing software applications, I have worked both as a software engineer, and as a development manager, so I understand the full software development lifecycle and what it takes to produce quality software products. I am dedicated to driving the development of software applications by thinking outside of the box to find solutions to business problems and motivating others to develop quality software solutions on time and within budget. I have a strong background using the Agile methodology for software development, and I have spent several years working as a Scrum Master. I value the planning and teamwork that an Agile development environment can provide, and believe the Agile methodology can be an extremely effective way to develop software as long as the team is committed to continuous collaboration and improvement.I especially enjoy coaching and mentoring others so they can realize their full potential. For many years, I worked as a Development Manager, but in my most recent position, I returned to my roots as a software developer. In that position, I was a mentor in a formal Mentoring program for five different individual contributors, guiding them in their quest to achieve a higher level of accomplishment. I also served as an onboarding specialist where I was the first line of contact for our new engineers who had questions regarding company policies, development procedures, coding techniques, or help with resolving issues.I have been working remotely for more than 15 years. I have excellent communication skills and I am very detail-oriented. I have used these skills to effectively communicate my status to supervisors and peers, my viewpoints on issues, design, coding and testing considerations to my Scrum team, and policies and procedures to newer members of my team. I have also spent most of my career learning new technologies in a remote setting, and I have been able to effectively use those technologies to solve business issues. It is my love for coaching and mentoring that has inspired me to return to managing software engineers and the development process. I am seeking a position as a Software Development Manager where I can use my experience as a developer, an Agile scrum master, and as a development manager to solve business issues with a team of motivated engineers, and with a company that values teamwork, collaboration, integrity, accountability, and delivering value to its customers.
