The Center for Community Engagement in Health Innovation @ CC is a multi-million dollar program aimed at creating/shaping a healthcare system that is responsive to individuals who have complex medical and social needs and have been traditionally underserved and overlooked by our system. In partnership with the Center's Senior Director, I provide program and team leadership, oversee the Center's operations and financial management, provide support in shaping the Center's strategic direction with an emphasis on centering health justice and race equity.

In partnership with the Center's Senior Director, I oversee the day-to-day management and long-term direction of the program centering health justice and race equity.

Greater Boston Area

In this role, I managed projects focused on individuals enrolled in both Medicare and Medicaid. In addition to this, I provided leadership on policy issues related to integrated care at both the federal and state level through policy research and analysis, strategic coaching and advice to consumer advocates while maintaining and building relationships with national, state and community advocates in this space. I also provided technical assistance to local and state advocacy partners with a focus on integrated care and the social determinants of health.

In this role, I managed relationships with state and community-based advocacy organizations throughout the country, providing capacity building and technical assistance support to build organizations’ capacities in campaign development, communications, coalition and stakeholders alliance, policy, grassroots organizing, resource development, and power building. My specific areas of focus were: Medicare-Medicaid integration, long term services and supports, payment and delivery reform.
