As the Director of Audit & HR Services at Berkshire Associates, a division of Resolution Economics, I provide clients with strategic advice regarding EEO, affirmative action and pay equity. I also oversee Berkshire's OFCCP audit practice, helping clients manage hundreds of compliance reviews over the course of my career.From 2001- 2008, I served as Acting Director/Deputy Director of the Policy Division of OFCCP, and as a senior policy advisor at Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). Prior to joining Berkshire, I was a shareholder at a management-side employment law firm where I advised small and large organizations on a wide range of OFCCP and EEO compliance issues. I also regularly represented employers during investigations, audits, and other enforcement activities by local, state and federal government agencies, including those involving large-scale class allegations under Title VII, the ADA, the ADEA, Executive Order 11246, the FLSA and the FMLA. I am a regular presenter of management and employee training at all levels of organizations and have testified before Congress regarding EEO and affirmative action issues. Recognized by Chambers USA and Maryland Super Lawyers, I serve as Secretary for the Baltimore Industry Liaison Group (BILG), a faculty member at the Institute for Workplace Equality and on the NILG Advisory Panel.
