To organise, host and record all competitions and results involving the Exeter University Archery Club. The role also involves liasons with other competition secretaries across the South West in order to maintain a high degree of co-oridnation and co-operation. Further duties involved with the role include planning and maintaining a training schedule for the archery squad which includes - but is not limited to - ensuring high levels of fitness and focused practice and analysis of performance… Show more To organise, host and record all competitions and results involving the Exeter University Archery Club. Another aspect of the position is to ensure all competitions are carried out to the stringent guidelines set by Archery GB as well as the recording and reward of prizes for the top three archers across all bowstyles and genders. My night shift was from 11pm-7am and in that time I was completely on my own and was expected to bring in deliveries, serve customers, and clean and re-stock the shop in time for the following morning. This responsibility not only highlights my capability to work on an individual basis, but also my time management skills; further representing a broad set of personal and inter-personal abilities.
