Independent Office Products Entrepreneur It all started in the warehouse of the iconic San Antonio office products dealership Paul Anderson Co. Thirty eight years ago, Mark found his niche in sales. After completing the Dale Carnegie Sales Course at the age of twenty, he went on to become the youngest member of the sales force at the time. Over the next several years he worked with companies like Joyce Office Products and Wittings Office Interiors. Mark then moved into the manufacturer’s representative space. Working for Buddy Goode and Associates, NOPA 7 (Later known as 21st Century Sales), eventually becoming Vice President of Sales. Working hand in hand with manufacturers and dealers to create opportunities for both. Not forgetting the dealer side, he furthered his experience by serving as General Manager for new dealer startups, opening new markets and growing sales for IQ 2000 (US Office Products) and Convenience Office Products. Past experience led Mark and Sandra Nolan to open up their own dealership in 2000, Nolans Office Products, Inc. in San Antonio. In 2010 AHI Enterprises LLC was founded and launched to respond to a Texas Statewide Office Supply Contract. Mark’s entrepreneurial spirit and deep roots in the office products dealer community led him to pioneer the first multi-yeared contract granted to a consortium of independent office product dealers in the State of Texas and the rest of the USA. Not satisfied with the limited scope and nature of contracts at the State level, he saw an additional opportunity for his newly formed consortium of dealers to serve the public sector. After being awarded a multi-year contract with the PACE Cooperative, Mark took the contract Nationwide. He then created strategic alliances with wholesalers and manufacturers, allowing AHI dealers in the Nationwide group to take advantage of lower net pricing, aggressive sell pricing, protected territory. “Truly a complete National SLED solution.”
