Responsible for two Algebra II classes and three Geometry classes. Team 12: Professional Learning Community featuring one senior class teacher from each of the core subjects English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies collaborating on interdisciplinary lessons, behavior management consistent with Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) standards, and professional development. Team 12 Responsibilities: Responsible for scheduling, grade counseling, parent contact, and the creation of student action plans. Leader of team. Team 12 Leader Responsibilities: Team 12 representative at all school-wide meetings and communication liason from team to administrative and advisory staff. Tasked with implementing best teaming practices as per administrative directive and professional development, facilitating and insuring student success through conferences with parents and collaboration with other professionals.Individual Responsibilities: Lesson plans consistent with 8-Step best practices, Common Core State Standards, and NCTM best practices; formative and summative assessment; collaboration with Special Education and English as a New Language teachers to work with Exceptional Needs Students; and personal improvement. Collaboration with teachers of other subjects. On the fly innovation and differentiated instruction. Provided remediation and counseling during lunch, prep, before, and after school. 8-Step Professional Learning Community Personal Responsibilities: Academic calendar creation, test creation, and technology. Taught one section of an Algebra I Equivalent class on PUC campus. Team Responsibilities: Consistent pacing evaluation, test and quiz collaboration, and content best practices discussion. Individual Responsibilities: Data collection, test, quiz and homework grading, facilitation of learning using Student-Centered best practices, and remediation of students during office hours.

Paid lecturer and grader as a part of a Math Education methods seminar. Team Responsibilities: Discuss and relate current education methods, trends, and concepts. Individual Responsibilities: Lectured three days a week, wrote, administered, and graded quizzes and homework, designed discovery and inquiry-based activities to supplement weekly lectures.
