About Mark Baker

I am focused on database design and ETL pipeline development at the Stanley Center for Psychiatric Research, part of the Broad Institute of MIT & Harvard. My main focus is NeuroGAP-Psychosis, a psychogenetic study of schizophrenia and bipolar disorders in Africa. My work over the past few years has included application development, pipeline architecture, quantitative analysis, cleaning & documenting data, and writing scientific manuscripts. In 2015, I completed my MA in Economics at Duke University, where I spent my second year working two research assistantships.I have a good deal of experience with statistical programming and am especially interested in working with large datasets. Primary research interests include substance abuse, obesity, mental health, and education.
