This includes creating RFP’s, reviewing bids, negotiating contracts, supervising work and progress, resolving conflicts, etc.Administer and assist with the development of the Hamilton County Joint Hiring Process; evaluated over 120 people for potential employment at NFD included application evaluation, interviewing, reference checks, reviewing polygraph reports, and more.Develop multiple Standard Operation Procedures (SOP’s) and Guidelines (SOG’s) and regularly review them for necessary updates and revisions.Created a multi-year fire apparatus replacement schedule based upon maintenance costs per hour to address declining performance of fire apparatus.Organized and managed the annual NFD Christmas Food and Toy Drive for 8 years. The Commission is tasked with creating and modifying statewide codes of fire safety and building laws.Developed a program that installed universal fittings on all fire hydrants in the City of Noblesville.Chaired the statewide plan review task force that established objective criteria for certifying the competency of a city, town, or county to perform plan reviews in the State of Indiana.Created a program in 2009 to train and utilize building inspectors from the Noblesville Planning Department to assist with NFD’s inspections, thereby preventing staff layoffs during the recession.Earned (and still hold) 16 ICC certifications including Fire Code Specialist and Building Code Specialist.Led the 300% growth of the Inspections Division.
