This is a direct support position with responsibility for the oversight of all residential activities and needs pertaining to all youth in the program. Under the direction of the Director of Programs, perform duties related to organizing shift, supervising Youth Support Specialists, and the oversight of the residential care of all youth in the program. This position requires the ability to work independently, exercising judgment, initiative, confidentiality and professionalism

Serves as a direct caregiver to at-risk youth in a residential setting. Responsible for assessing the needs and implementing the agreed upon treatment goals for all residents. Establish a professional relationship with resident’s treatment team members and family when appropriate. Ensured the safety of the residents at all times and reported unresolved conflicts. Oversee the dispensing of all medication and documentation of medication for each resident.

Summer Camp Counselor is primarily responsible for the total welfare and program leadership of a cabin group. Responsible for the health and safety of each camper, and all aspects of the camper’s experiences. Serves as an appropriate role model to all campers.-Facilitated group dynamics and mediated conflicts for campers aged 14-16-Led campers through activities including swim lessons, cleaning up the cabin, and group games with other cabins-Tended to the health and safety of each camper during daily activities and by the waterfront as a lifeguard
