This program educates one class each year on the different economic and quality of life sectors in the Tri-Cities, from Hanford to humanitarian services. The goal is create a cadre of leaders who are catalysts for positive change in our community.I joined the LTC board in summer 2005 as the coordinator for the Media & The Arts session day. After three years as a session day director, I was elected vice president and then president..As the LTC board president for Class XV in 2009-2010, I was responsible for selecting the class members, building the team, and guiding the class through its program year and community service project — while simultaneously leading the board, handling organizational challenges, and mentoring the president-elect.After a year as past-president, I finished my LTC service in June 2011.
