CurrentAdvancing TU’s conservation agenda through advocacy in Congress and with administrative agencies.• Develop and implement effective strategies to advance TU legislative and administrative policy agenda, including Public Lands protection, and appropriations initiatives.• Advocate Trout Unlimited’s positions with Congress and the Administration and represent TU before committees and administrative agencies.• Coordinate TU’s advocacy agenda with national and regional partners and coalitions. • Work with TU volunteers, field staff and media staff to link TU’s field organizing and project efforts with national advocacy goals, including effective and frequent deployment of volunteers and field staff on Capitol Hill and to administrative agencies• Train and mentor TU staff and volunteers engaged in advocacy efforts.• Assist the VP of Government Affairs with program budget management and fundraising to support advocacy program.
