With 15 years of experience as a successful K-12 Special Education Teacher and Grade Level Chair, I now work in Higher Ed to empower a new generation of teachers. I prepare my students with the tools necessary to be successful, culturally responsive, and transformative educators. As a teacher coach I model the effective implementation of Universal Design for Learning; a best practice and pedagogy that ensures that the needs of all their students are met from an equity lens. As an Educational Consultant my expertise ranges from professional development facilitation, special education, curriculum/course development, lesson planning, program coordinating and data analysis/strategic planning. All with the goal to enrich educational outcomes for students, teachers and school leaders. I am also the author of the Children’s Mental Health book “Little Z and Firefly, A Journey to Light and Love “ and the Workbook, -A Mental Health Guide for Kids.”My mission is to provide kids, parents and teachers with wellness tools that could transform their life. Investing in a childs mental health can have lifelong affects on their health, relationships and success. After successfully self publishing a best selling children's book I now support aspiring authors in their self publishing journey through my company, Noor Publishing LLC.
