About Mitchell Brown
I’ve found my passion in coding. While studying Mechanical Engineering, I always found ways to incorporate coding into my assignments. When a portion of a group project involved designing a model or doing calculations in MATLAB, I was the first to jump on it. As I spend more time in software, I’ve found that I love it more each day. I love the problem solving involved in coding, so much so that even my hobbies are built around it. When I started rock climbing, it was hard not to think about solving the next route that I planned to climb. I found the same with Snowboarding in the backcountry – problem solving and coming to sound conclusions are critical, and it always gives me excitement when I know I’ve made the right decision.I am currently working as a backend engineer, where I have learned many skills across the stack, building applications with technologies including Python, Typescript and JavaScript, AWS, SQL and NoSQL, and Flutter.
