Achieved over 13 Million consecutive safe man hours without a lost work day, OSHA VPP Star Status, and ISO-14001 Certification. Served as a Shift Safety Representative responsible for the day to day safe operations of plant personnel required for the safe destruction of what once was the nation’s single-largest stockpile of aging, deteriorating chemical weapons (GB VX GA nerve agents and HD, HT, Lewisite vesicants) in support of the U.S. Army’s Chemical Warfare Materiel Demilitarization Mission under the provisions of the International Chemical Weapons Convention Treaty ratified by the United States in 1997.

Performed a combination of duties necessary to ensure environmental compliance for all areas of the TOCDF operating facility. • Conducted environmental inspections, surveillances, and audits of all areas. • Maintained Department of Defense chemical surety materials access required for accessing chemical agent toxic areas. • Acted as environmental expert during contingency and emergency operations. • Documented and implemented inspections, surveillance and audit findings; worked with plant personnel to define, present for approval, and implement appropriate corrective actions and resolutions.
