Example Program for the AD7124 • Designed an example program in C to showcase the features of a high precision Delta-Sigma ADC. • Produced a design which is both flexible and scalable such that the part can be tailored for specific usage. • Sifted through lower level drivers and was able to find issues through extensive logic analyzer debugging of the SPI bus. • Learned to write heavily documented code which not only explains the program written, but also explains some of the lower level driver code of which the program is ultimately comprised of. Streamlining Code Release Process:• Assisted with the process by which code is released within ADI and provided input and suggestions when necessary. • Wrote a code template which anyone within ADI could use when developing either drivers or example programs of their own for a given part. • Wrote documentation detailing how to use the serial port monitoring tool Putty as it relates to using many of the example programs at ADI. • Learned about many of the challenges that go into the standardization of official code which is released by the company and some of the many solutions to make it as quick and efficient as possible.
