I am admitted and have practiced before the Supreme Court of the United States, the United States Court of Appeals For The Ninth Circuit, the United States District Court for The District of Nevada, the Courts of the State of Nevada and numerous Tribal Courts.I have practiced before the United States Supreme Court and the Federal District Court for The District of Nevada on several cases that were heard in both tribal and federal court, including the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in Nevada v. Hicks, Dawn Eagle v. Yerington Paiute Tribe and Winnemucca Colony Council v. Wasson. My career has focused on tribal advisement and development. The primary vehicle for the expression of my talents and abilities has been in the business development branch of Native American tribes and corporations. Over the past decade and a half I have served in a variety of positions in both the government and corporate factions of tribal growth and development. This has included economic diversification in the areas of gaming, natural, renewable energy, such as wind, solar, and geothermal sources of electric energy production, small business on reservation convenience stores, the recapture of U.S. Government funds for health care and large scale settlement for unlawful takings, and most significantly licensing for on reservation gaming.
