Reporting to Chief Innovation Officer, led world-class product development team of up to 20 mechanical engineers, industrial designers, and prototype developers in the strategy, road mapping, research, development, costing, manufacturing, and launch of new products. Developed 20+ new products each year, with 12 to 15 launching at mass, club, omni-channel and direct to consumer markets. Managed external partners for prototyping, design, engineering, and softgoods services, working closely with US molders and manufacturers and making over 25 trips to China and Vietnam.

I was project lead on multiple products, including the Q line of grills; Responsible for concept development, industrial design, CAD (SolidWorks), engineering, and vendor communication from design through manufacture. I worked with the R&D team on design, prototyping, and testing of products and concepts. I collaborated with Sales and Marketing teams on the launch of new products and accessories. I worked closely with US manufacturers in injection molding, die casting, sheet metal fabrication, powder coating and painting. I traveled to China to work with vendors in the development and manufacture of grills and accessories.
