1. Plan all deliveries, installation and implementation of work to meet project requirements.2. Conduct meetings with Project managers to discuss project requirements & prepare a project CPM schedule using planning software (P6 V8.2) (Baseline Plans & deliverable). Guides Project Planners in developing the most appropriate baseline plans.3. The review of the project baseline updates in the implementation phase in terms of time and costs. 4. Work with Finance Department to develop project’s cash flow.5. Work with Procurement Management department to plan purchasing schedule.6. Identify when materials will be needed and how much they will cost to deliver and install.7. Get updates from PM on progress and ensure that the schedule is being followed.8. Identify variance and recommend action. Ensure that PMs execute the project plan following the critical path, within the required timescales.9. Identify causes & advice for resolving problems that may hold up progress, such as delays from Clients, Subcontractors and Suppliers.10. Monitor productivity of manpower & equipment and report variance.11. Prepares tender programmes, sequence of activities, Value Engineering & advice on the best practices for the benefit of Client.12. Oversees the development of project planning templates. Building a repository of best practices in project planning.13. Conducts lessons learned and develops best practices in project planning. Development of the skills and capabilities of Project Planners.14. Monitors Project Budget, Reports performance & costs of projects activities to Management.15. Represents as CGC in Client / Consultant meetings related to project planning.16. Preparing project closing report regarding profits/ losses and the department-wise contribution, viz. Site Management, Procurement department, w.r.t. Original Tender pricing, etc.17. Prepare EOT claims & advise Project Managers / Planners on records & delay analysis for EOT claims.

Progress monitoring and control at site.4. Preparing weekly and/or monthly progress reports to the Project manager at Site and to the Planning Manager at Head Office.5. Preparing a revised programme of work or a recovery plan whenever required.6. Issue a Complete Claim for Time Extension Program.7. Highlighting problems to the Project Manager at site to take his corrective actions and also to the Planning Manager at Head Office for his information and action towards the Management.8. Attending planning and progress meetings at site and liaison with the client or consultant to get them satisfied with the control and reporting system.9. Providing the Project manager with all the required supporting documents for any claim for time extension or variation orders.10. At tender stage-Preparing detailed programme of work, manpower schedule and histograms, plant schedule, S-curve, as well as any other required planning documents.11. Post Contract Stage- preparing detailed programme of work, manpower schedule and histograms, plant schedule, projected progress curve, cash flow diagram, sub contractors, materials and shop drawing follow up sheets, as well as the activities weight factors report.12. Preparing weekly and/ or monthly progress report that includes an update of the work programme and a comprehensive comparison between the planned and actual progress at site as well as the manpower and plant.13. Following up the sub-contractors approvals, shop drawings approvals as well as materials approvals and delivery to site, specially the long lead items.14. Preparing look ahead schedules.15. Controlling and following up the sub contractors schedules and incorporate their activities and material delivery dates in the master schedule.
