Senior Graphics Technician
Graphics Technician
- Create computer layout of various graphics treatments- Produces graphics applications from layout to finishing including RIP processing, output to substrate or medium, cutting, painting, lamination, etc.- File management and manipulation- Coordinates work with outside vendors- Operates and maintains EFI Pro 30F printer and other equipment

This sometimes includes cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning and maintaining the substrates for vinyl application- Perform quality assurance measures pre-and post-construction by accurately reading and interpreting a Work Order and then proofing for errors or unacceptable standards (bubbles, ragged edges, loose seams) -Report inventory levels and stock to be reordered to the manager; Help unload and store raw materials; clean and maintain storage areas- Minimize waste by efficiently using ink, media, laminates, foils and vinyl; Work on different projects simultaneously- Clean and maintain tools and equipment by following all best safety practices including the wearing of all safety gear as necessary- Communicate with other employees and customers: Sales/Service members on job requirements, timing, and special needs
Premedia Tech
- Operate large format Epson printers to produce hard proofs for clients to see color match- Reviews client files and determines correctness and what actions need to be taken for file to print. - Review electronic files that are received from clients and check them for thoroughness and completeness in advance of the plate making process. - Using electronic page layout software (desktop publishing software) manipulates the format of the print job to the dimensions of the paper.- Determine page layout, accounting for folds, trims, bleeds and gripper, and add crop marks and color bars as necessary. - Identify missing or problematic components and communicate them to the CSR, customer and production personnel. Work directly with CSR, customer, and production personnel as necessary to work out any problems with the job. - Load customer supplied electronic files for output, onto the Pre-Press and Blind operators during the manufacturing process.- Impose images and operate CTP plate making equipment and bending/tabbing equipment to prepare plates for press. - Perform quality checks on finished plates before releasing to manufacturing.
Digital Operator 2
- Operate inkjet, laser, xerographic or offset duplicating printers. - RIP files or review job instructions to prepare jobs for printing. Maintain daily print job production logs and daily delivery manifests. - Setup, program and release jobs from print queue. - Adjust image position, perforations and folds on paper. - Monitor quality of job output for correctness and image quality. - Order supplies such as ink, chemical solutions, blankets and rollers, paper, tabs and other items as needed. - Maintain inventory levels.

- Prepares files for clients by running scripts and and RIP processing for exporting- Checks imposition and color adjustments before printing- Works with variable data jobs for clients on a fast paced time table- Run multiple printers and laminators throughout the course of the day to print products
