• Providing technical support and assistance to users with primary focus on zero downtime within the technical capabilities of the infrastructure.• Full coverage of desktop hardware and partial software support particularly within trade and banking applications; Bloomberg, Fidessa, Invu and Axe Trader.• SCCM Administration: OSD/Software Deployment, Client Health Remediation, Patch Management, reporting and troubleshooting alongside ongoing dialogue with the SCCM Operations team in Canada.- Project: Regional deployment of IE 11 across all financial divisions. (London)- Project: Regional deployment of Skype for Business, profile migration.- Client Health Management: Remediation of inactive and non-responsive clients, correction of inconsistent WMI repositories where needed and manual/push installations.- Diagnostics via log files and identifying error codes produced with CMtrace.- Now Micro Right Click Tools• Lync/Skype for Business: Active role in the regional deployment/administering of the new messaging service which replaced Office Communicator 2007 and Microsoft Group Chat.- Migration of SIP profiles from legacy OCS pool to Lync Server 2013 pool.- Login and Presence diagnostics, in relation to the client and exchange.- Persistent Chat administration and setup.• Cisco VoIP: Setup & basic configuration knowledge with voicemail, including call routing and device association.
