Assist with web applications for benefits and programs. Review and maintain reference materials to support counseling to provide the highest quality service to the customer.Duties: A designated Site Lead is responsible for oversight and management of personnel on installation.- Delivering VA Benefits and Services Courses and overseeing briefer assignments to accomplish instruction of VA Benefits and Services Courses.- Providing optional individual assistance sessions with interested SMs(Service Members) and their family members.- Providing necessary follow-up to ensure optimal outcomes.- Maintaining fluency on all VA benefits, programs, and services.- Coordinating with installation PoCs regarding building and space allocations and other logistical issues.- Monitoring day-to-day briefer operations and reporting performance or quality assurance issues to Area Lead or Field Operations Task Lead.- Collect administrative report inputs from all briefers and provide them to Field Operations Task Lead.- Entering daily reports on all events into the web-based data collection tools.- Requesting travel authorization before any planned travel and compiling and submitting trip reports. Ensure travel arrangements are met through coordination with the subcontractor lead.- Maintaining a good working partnership with base Transition Assistance Program Managers, Veteran Service Officers, and Veteran Service Representatives.
