CurrentLeads the Insurance & Financial Services business at NRECA and serves as Plan Administrator for the Association’s multiple-employer DB pension, 401(k) and H&W benefit plans with combined assets in excess of $10 Billion. The goal of these programs is to provide member cooperatives across the nation, regardless of their size and location, with access to comprehensive, flexible and affordable retirement, health care and insurance programs for current and former employees and their dependents. Directs the design and administration of population health management and workforce wellness/ productivity strategies for the electric cooperative system, including the sponsorship of a Clinical Advisory Board and medical research programs focused on rural populations. Ensures ongoing compliance of the plans with ERISA, HIPPAA, ADA, ADEA, COBRA, MMA, PPA, PPACA and all federal regulations. Also responsible for the design and administration of non-qualified deferred compensation and FAS 106 fee-for-service programs in support of these plans.
