Conducted on-site surveys and desktop surveys to gather information pertinent to the customer requirements for new equipment installations or upgrades at various sites worldwide. Developed design documentation, Implementation plans, and System test plans. Design documentation included the Telecommunications Site Implementation Plan (TSIP), rack elevation diagrams, equipment chassis diagrams, individual circuit diagrams, fiber, copper, power and ground cabling connectivity tables, equipment management configuration and connectivity tables, and a bill of materials required for the installation/upgrade. Developed Site Concurrence Letters (SCL) to identify DISA, By light, and customer responsibilities during the installation process.

Coordinated all aspects of the installation activities in support of the Defense Information Systems Agency's backbone Inter Router Trunks (IRT) and customer access circuits to DISA’s networks. Entailed the engineering, logistic procurement, country clearance/Field Engineer security access, and scheduling of installations. Coordinated the ordering of cryptographic devices and keying material on behalf of DISA-Europe for both the DISA backbone neworks and customer access circuits. As FNS Europe lead for TO23, TO26, and TO42 developed and implemented processes to successfully provide service to DISA customers connecting to the NIPR/SIPR networks. Interfaced with the DISA customer and customers of DISA on a daily basis ensuring all were informed of the current status of all projects.The FNS division of Verizon was sold to Jacobs in 2015.

Various. Majority Of Time In The European Theater

During tour of duty at DISA-Europe Stuttgart, Germany as IP operations manager was responsible for DOD level management, policy direction, engineering, technical analysis, operational continuity and performance of the European portion of the two major DOD-wide IP data networks: NIPRnet and SIPRnet. Team leader of force protection squad of 12 personnel responsible for the physical integrity of base boundaries and entry points. During tour of duty at Commander U.S. Sixth Fleet Staff was responsible for the engineering oversight of all defense communications networks performance and reliability for all Naval ships assigned to the U.S. Sixth Fleet area of operations. Responsible for organizing and directing performance upgrades to the U.S. Sixth Fleet Flag Ship, USS LaSalle’s Red (classified) and Black (unclassified) LANs. As Leading Petty Officer directly supervised 43 personnel in their duties for the division as well as ship wide responsibilities. During tour of duty at Naval Station Rota Spain was responsible for the design changes, implementation planning, data base creation, installation and transition from a legacy Technical Control station to an automated computer network based Technical control. During tour of duty at Naval Station United Kingdom Thurso, Scotland was responsible for the operation and maintenance of the North Atlantic VLF, UHF, and HF U.S. Navy Submarine Broadcast systems.
