Results-oriented insurance professional with over four decades of successful insurance and business experience. I began my insurance career in the claims department as a Legal claims representative and after two years was promoted to management. Two years later I was assigned as sales manager where I had responsibility for over twenty insurance agency locations.After ten years with the company, I became an independent contractor and founded New Century Advisors, Inc. with a single insurance agency location. Over the next several years the agency grew to three locations in three counties. We earned the trust of thousands of clients and earned many company awards for our commitment, caring, and professionalism.In November, 2017 I joined the Board of Directors of NC Joint Underwriters Association. We are the insurer of last resort as the NC FAIR plan. I have served as chair of the claims committee, and now serve on the reinsurance committee, the appeals committee, the administration committee and chair of the accounting and fiscal affairs committee.
